Le Duc Tho street to Road No. 70

• The project has been approved by the Prime Minister to appoint the investor under Document No. 1901/TTg-CN dated December 6th, 2007.
• Hanoi People’s Committee issued Decision No. 603/QD-UBND on February 4th, 2008 approving the project proposal on building the road route from Le Duc Tho street to Xuan Phuong new urban area (the end point crosses Road No. 70) under the form of Build - Transfer (BT).
• The project was already approved under Decision No. 161/QD-HDQT by the Board of Directors of TASCO Joint Stock Company on September 22nd, 2008.
• BT Contract 68/HDBT for the project on building the road route from Le Duc Tho street to Road No. 70 under the build-transfer (BT) contract signed on December 5th, 2008 between the People’s Committee of Tu Liem district as the competent State agency authorized by the People’s Committee of Hanoi city and TASCO Company as the investor .

Under the project, the road route from Le Duc Tho street to Xuan Phuong new urban area (the end point crosses Road No. 70) is the trunk road and plays an important role in planning the urban road network of Hanoi city in general and Tu Liem district in particular.

When the project is completed, the road route will help solve congestion problems, improve the local transport network under planning, capacity of technical infrastructure, and create inter-connections between the western area of Hanoi city and former Ha Tay province. In addition, it will contribute to promoting socio-economic development in the city and Tu Liem district. Especially, the road route is located right in the agglomeration at the western gateway of Hanoi, 800m from My Dinh stadium to the North East, running in parallel with My Dinh urban area and crossing Nhue river and Bac Hong - Van Dien national railway.
